The Exo Terra substrate for snakes is a biodegradable substrate for reptiles made from sustainable wood. It is ideal for breeders and professional reptile keepers. The Exo Terra substrate for snakes is dust-free and particularly soft, making it suitable for even the most sensitive species and newly hatched animals. The substrate has been heat-treated to prevent potential contamination from bacteria and to enhance its absorption capacity. The unique texture of the wood fibers allows reptiles to build solid nesting cavities that resemble their natural hiding spots. Its high absorption rate (3:1) and quick-drying properties make this 100% natural material an extremely easy-to-maintain substrate.
Application
Ensure that the terrarium or breeding container is disinfected and dry. Spread an even layer of at least 2.5 cm thick on the bottom of the terrarium or container. Clean the substrate spot-wise daily and completely renew it every 8 weeks, or as needed.
