Plants, food residues, and metabolic products deteriorate the quality of aquarium water. Good water quality is essential for promoting the health of fish and plants in the aquarium. This can be achieved through aquarium filters. The filters draw in the aquarium water and remove pollutants and waste materials from it. The ProCristal has its own filter chamber for special filter media against algae growth or for particularly clear water. The aquarium water flows broadly and slowly through the filter, where it is cleaned and then pumped back into the aquarium. The outlet of the filter can be adjusted continuously with a slider. Thanks to the fine pores, there is no danger to small fish and shrimp. The filter volume can be at least doubled with one or more extension modules.
