Product details

Heating plates are used to create hotspots and support the digestion of animals. The contact temperature of a plate is approximately 30 °C. It emits radiant heat that penetrates the animals' bodies and activates their metabolism. A 50 °C safety switch cuts off the power to the plate if it overheats. This circuit breaker is not as advanced as a thermostat, but it has been designed to reduce the fire hazard associated with improper use of the product.
