Ceramic glass rings for the equipment of internal or external filters. Mechanically acting filter media are primarily used to remove suspended particles. Ceramic rings create turbulence in the filter basket due to their special shape and large surface area. This allows suspended particles to settle during sinking, and coarse dirt particles are removed from the water cycle.
Additionally, they provide optimal conditions for the colonization of filter bacteria, thereby reducing nitrite spikes more effectively than conventional filter materials.
Due to their small size, ceramic rings can be used even in the smallest components of internal, external, and cascade filters.
