Flow pumps like the SunSun JVP series are an important component in aquaristics, especially in marine aquaristics. These so-called wavemakers create water movement within the aquarium that simulates the natural currents of the seas. This provides corals and other marine inhabitants with the flow necessary for their survival.

Flow pumps are often installed in opposing directions to create a diffuse current. The currents generated by the aquarium pump prevent unwanted sediments from settling on the bottom of the aquarium. To ensure that the generated flow can fully develop its effect, the pump is mounted directly on the aquarium glass using a magnetic holder.

The head of the SunSun JVP-230 Dual flow pump features two outlet nozzles and can be adjusted up, down, right, and left, allowing for individual flow direction settings.

The pump performance is 6,000 liters per hour with a power consumption of 8 watts. Thanks to the existing control valve, the water flow can also be individually adjusted.

The corrosion-resistant carbon steel shaft ensures a long lifespan for the pump. The rotors are designed based on the construction of a ship's propeller and produce a smooth and wide flow with minimal power consumption. All electronic components are encapsulated in epoxy resin, providing optimal protection.
