It detects the existing microchip of the animal (no collar required), is compatible with all common microchip formats, stores up to 32 microchip numbers, and operates on 4 x AA batteries for up to 12 months. Installation is simple with 2 parts and fits doors with a thickness of up to 6 cm without additional accessories. The cat flap can also be installed in glass - 3 mm to 6 cm thick - a mounting adapter is required for all glass installations. For non-chipped animals, the RFID collar tag can be used, which must be ordered separately.

5. Ferplast Swing 5 Pet Door Brown
Thanks to the Ferplast Swing product line, you can now install a pet flap dedicated solely to your four-legged friend in any wooden, metal, or glass door, as well as in brick walls. For cats and puppies, we recommend the models Swing 1, 3, or 5. For medium to large dogs and large cats, the models Swing 11 or 15 are more suitable. The Swing 7 model, equipped with a magnetic system, is perfect for cats.
The Swing flaps feature the innovative Wind Stopper system, which protects against drafts (except for models Swing 1 and 3). Another important feature is the 4-way locking system (not available in model Swing 1), which allows you to adjust the type of opening according to your needs: entry only, exit only, entry and exit, or closed. Finally, a passage indicator (included in Swing 5 and 7) helps you determine whether your pet is inside or outside. Please note: Before installation in glass structures, we advise you to consult a glazier, as it is not possible to drill holes in tempered safety glass or double glazing unless they were made during manufacturing.

The microchip cat flap for up to 9 cats features a 4-way locking control. Access for stray animals is prevented through the personal microchip or the CatMate brand. The LCD display shows the selected entry and exit lock status, as well as the location and time since the last flap activation for up to 3 cats. The integrated timer function controls access for all your cats (e.g., curfew at night). It is equipped with a self-closing mechanism for installation depths of up to 100 mm, making it suitable for single or double glazing and all panels up to a thickness of 100 mm. Additionally, the flap has a fully draft-proof and weather-resistant brush seal. A tunnel is available for wall installation. The cat flap requires 4 AA batteries for operation, which are not included. The flap has a typical operational lifespan of about 12 months.
