Hello I have the same problem. It remains blocked with the input up, supposedly the sensor has detected a cat when it hasn't. I have to press OK twice, otherwise it remains blocked. I have to press OK twice, otherwise it gets stuck. And yet I clean it thoroughly and regularly. There must be sensors inside but I can't find them. Does anyone have any ideas or solutions?
I had the same problem, it may not be a fault but very trivially a problem with the scale. If, like me, you have taken a new mat so that the sand does not leak out of the litter box and put PuraMax on it, you may experience this exact same problem.
Hello, we now only have the pet kit pura max. Everything works. But for a few days now, the sensor no longer works or doesn't work properly. The cats are only partially recognised, but what's worse is that the cleaning no longer works. Whether automatically after use or manually, it starts, shows "in cleaning" in the app, then stops and shows that there is a cat in the toilet. Then it only continues by pressing "ok" several times, often not at all and the toilet remains half turned for hours and the opening is closed.
We just don't know what to do, the sensor seems to be clean and free. Is there another one? So the whole thing makes relatively little sense.
The toi is freshly cleaned, properly assembled and the app works.
I have a Petkit Pura Max and had a similar problem. My toilet wouldn't stop spinning and only stopped when it supposedly recognised a cat that wasn't there. After a long search, I found out that one of the magnetic sensors on the right-hand drum cover, which is also the gear wheel, had completely crumbled away to rust. It is the sensor that signals the zero position, right at the bottom of the gearwheel. I scraped out the rust residue and inserted a reasonably suitable neodymium magnet and it worked again 😍 unfortunately I don't know how the Pura X is constructed, but I could imagine that it is a similar problem. The magnet was behind an adhesive strip and after cleaning the cylinder with water, the magnet was permanently wet and completely rusted. Maybe this will help someone
