1) Can the feeder only be programmed via the app, or can it also be programmed on the device itself?
2) Does the machine also work when the Wi-Fi in the house is switched off? For example, if you are on holiday and want to switch off the Wi-Fi, or even if you set it to OFF overnight.

Accepted Answer

Re 1) The automatic feeder can only be programmed via the app. On the unit itself, you can only manually trigger a feed release by pressing a button. This button is covered by the cover (so that it remains out of reach even for the most trained animal). 
Re 2) Once programmed, the feeder also works without WLAN.
