The product specifically designed for cooking pasta is the Pasta Pot. The design comes from Alain Ducasse and Patrick Jouin. The theme is captured by a new type of pot that revives an ancient cooking method used by olive pickers. All cooking processes occur simultaneously. First, the uncooked or lightly sautéed pasta is placed in the Pasta Pot. Then, the various ingredients for the desired sauce are added. Finally, water or broth is poured in all at once or gradually. This way, the starch is not washed away with the cooking water but is completely absorbed by the pasta. Only a single instrument – the Pasta Pot – is required for preparation. The dish can be cooked directly in the pot.
