The Aquaphor Maxfor+ replacement filter offers universal protection against a variety of contaminants commonly found in tap water. It improves the taste and smell of the water and reduces the rate of limescale buildup in hard water. The filter cartridge effectively reduces water hardness, chlorine, heavy metals, iron, pesticides, organic compounds, and other pollutants.

Maxfor+ contains Aqualen™, a patented ion exchange fiber with a surface area 33 times larger than that of conventional ion exchange materials used in water filters. When combined with high-density, extra-fine carbon absorbers, it ensures exceptionally high purification performance. Aqualen™ irreversibly binds heavy metal ions, including lead, iron, mercury, and radioactive isotopes.
