The extraction begins by pulling the lever upwards and is interrupted by lowering it once the desired amount has been reached in the cup. The proven E61 brew group is heated by the thermosyphon circulation system using water from a separate boiler for extraction. The 3.5" touch display allows you to set the boiler temperature, daily on and off cycles, pre-infusion time, water filter alarm, as well as the water supply (direct water or tank) and a priority switch for the individual boilers. Additionally, an automatic cleaning program is integrated.
