The Marella comes equipped with a compatible MAXTRA+ filter cartridge. This reduces limescale as well as odor and taste disturbing substances such as chlorine. The tap water flows through the filter cartridge by gravity, which contains a mixture of ion exchange resin and activated carbon.

A new PerfectFit system with a valve ensures that the BRITA MAXTRA+ filter cartridge fits perfectly in the funnel, that all the water is reliably filtered, and that nothing bypasses the filter.
