They reduce limescale deposits and the overall hardness of drinking water while simultaneously protecting equipment in the hospitality industry, such as coffee machines, espresso machines, hot and cold beverage dispensers, steamers, combi ovens, or ice makers, from limescale buildup. Additionally, they enhance the taste and aroma of beverages by removing flavor and aroma compounds like chlorine. Furthermore, they filter water impurities.

Functionality: Water flows from the mains through the cartridge. The pre-filter removes particles, and activated carbon eliminates odor and taste substances such as chlorine. Subsequently, carbonates are removed in the ion exchanger, and the water is treated and filtered with activated carbon. The filter includes a bypass to ensure that carbonates are not removed from the specified water quantity. This portion of the water is filtered only through the passage of activated carbon and the protective filter. The decarbonated water and the water from the bypass mix at the outlet.

For devices without a steam generator, the maximum temperature is 95°C; water hardness: 10d, and the bypass is set to level 3. The filter head is not included in the delivery.
