Nordic Kitchen kitchen series. Rustic country kitchen with modern know-how: Tools Design takes up popular cooking utensils from the Nordic kitchen for the Danish brand Eva Solo. Instead of just slightly refreshing the Scandinavian style, the Danish design team is focussing on materials without changing the look: Pots and pans with a rustic cast iron look score points with a lightweight aluminium construction, kitchen utensils join them in matt stainless steel, crockery makes an appearance in appetising stoneware. And oak is used wherever possible, sometimes as a naturally insulated handle, sometimes as a chopping board.

Nordic Kitchen kettle. Instead of cast iron, Tools Design has opted for a classic material for this Eva Solo kettle to go with the well-shaped oak handle: the stainless steel body holds a generous load of water, which it heats quickly with its powerful motor of up to 2200 W while complying with the usual safety standards. The cordless use of the jug is facilitated by an all-round power base; the spout is drip-free.
