F. Dick Knife Block with Knives 1905
The knife block made of beech wood, designed by product designer Ralph Krämer, impresses with its exclusive appearance and stable magnetic holder.
Included in the block: 1x forged kitchen scissors, 1x chef's knife (blade length 21 cm), 1x Santoku with hollow edge (blade length 18 cm), universal knife with serrated edge (blade length 26 cm), 1x paring knife (blade length 9 cm).
The blades are made from the alloy X 50 Cr Mo V15. Each individual component serves a specific purpose: chromium for wear resistance, molybdenum for corrosion resistance, and carbon for strength.
The handles made of polyoxymethylene (POM) offer high work stability as well as extreme hardness with relatively low temperature sensitivity up to about 110°C. They also have good chemical resistance.
56° Rockwell (HRC) is the perfect compromise between long-lasting sharpness and easy re-sharpening. Those who use their knives frequently will be very satisfied with this balance.
