Product details

  • The Santoku knife is an all-purpose knife in a traditional Japanese shape that is mainly used in the kitchen and has similar characteristics to a chef's knife.
  • The dimples create air pockets that prevent thin and soft slices from sticking to the blade. With a fluted edge, precise cuts are possible thanks to the precise guidance.
  • The blade is made of the alloy X 50 Cr Mo V15. Each individual component has a special task: chromium (wear resistance), molybdenum (corrosion resistance), carbon (strength).
  • The handle made of polyoxymethylene (POM) offers a high working strength as well as an extreme hardness with a comparatively low temperature sensitivity up to approx. 110°C. It also has good chemical resistance. It also has good chemical resistance.
