The integrated servo motor automatically opens and closes the lid of the device with a simple touch of the contact strip. An indication appears on the LCD display when the lid is moved: "OPEN" or "CLOSE".

Marinating and sous vide cooking.

Vacuum containers are perfect for marinating, as the vacuum opens the pores in the food, allowing the marinade to penetrate better. This function automatically evacuates and ventilates the vacuum container in cycles within 30 minutes, significantly speeding up the marinating process. For this function, you need a compatible vacuum container.

Vacuum packaging extends the shelf life of food in most cases, as air is mostly removed from the sealed bags and containers, preventing air and germs from entering through the airtight closure. This reduces oxidation from airborne oxygen and protects oxygen-sensitive components. Flavor compounds cannot escape from the food. Additionally, the growth of many germs is prevented due to the lack of oxygen.

An extra strong seal provides a particularly reliable sealing. Leakage of sauces or similar is avoided.
