The copper pans are painted on the outside, so we recommend removing the paint before first use.

Paint Removal: Some of our utensils are painted to prevent oxidation or loss of shine during storage, as is the case with decorative products. For painted kitchen utensils, it is essential to remove the paint before use. Please follow these instructions for removing the paint:

• Fill a large container with water and soak the piece from which you want to remove the paint.
• Add one tablespoon of sodium bicarbonate for every liter of water.
• Place it on the stove and let it boil for 15 minutes. You will observe the paint layer loosening from the product.
• Wash the utensil with water and soap, dry the inside with a clean cloth, and if you want to maintain the outer shine of the piece, use a special metal cleaning product.

If you find that some areas still have paint after cleaning, you can easily remove it with a cloth soaked in acetone. It is very important to remove all the paint before using the utensil. Otherwise, it will darken due to the heat of the oven.
