A patented foot pedal allows for easy release of the tufted mop cover while standing. Thanks to a securing strap, the mop cover can then be wrung out in the hand lever press of the separately available Leifheit cleaning carts – without having to dip hands into dirty water. A 360° swivel joint at the handle base makes it easier to clean hard-to-reach areas on stairs, in corners, or under cabinets. The telescopic handle can be extended from 105 to 175 cm in length and is effortlessly operated with one hand thanks to a right/left locking mechanism. An anti-slip feature on the grip cap prevents the handle from falling over when leaned against the wall. The Leifheit Flat Mop System is developed, tested, and produced in Germany.
