Proven Hygiene
Worry-free dishwashing: Thanks to the hygiene or intensive program combined with the PowerDisk or UltraTabs, more than 99.9% of viruses (e.g., Corona, influenza, or noroviruses) are reliably removed. This has been confirmed by a test conducted by the Institute for Hygiene and Virology. The Hochschule Rhein-Waal also demonstrates the exceptional hygienic cleaning performance of Miele dishwashers. In the hygiene test, more than 99.99% of bacteria (Enterococcus faecium) are removed using AutoDos and PowerDisk in the ECO and QuickPowerWash programs at 65 °C. The hygiene program also reduces the bacterial load (Enterococcus faecium or Micrococcus luteus) by at least a factor of 10,000, even without detergent.

EcoPower Technology
In the ECO program, water consumption is reduced to 8.9 liters. This also means less energy is needed for heating – and you benefit from an energy-efficient dishwasher. The water savings are made possible by an intelligently designed inflow system and a new, highly efficient filter system. Additional insulation reduces heat loss and thus the energy required to heat the water.

Fresh Water Dishwasher
Miele dishwashers clean exclusively with fresh water, using as little as 6 liters in the Automatic program – significantly less than a full sink. Miele has reduced water consumption by 85% over the past 30 years. Electricity consumption has also reached new lows: In the ECO program, Miele dishwashers achieve a consumption value of only 0.67 kWh.
