The SC 5 EasyFix Iron Plug includes the VapoHydro function, which lets you add hot water to remove stubborn dirt, a function not mentioned for the SC 5 Deluxe Ligne Signature. Both have similar steam pressure (4.2 bar) and power ratings (2250 W for the SC 5 Deluxe, 2200 W for the EasyFix Iron Plug). The SC 5 EasyFix Iron Plug also comes with a steam iron and EasyFix floor nozzle with flexible joint, while the SC 5 Deluxe Signature Line features an integrated accessory compartment and adjustable steam flow. Finally, the SC 5 EasyFix Iron Plug has a permanent 0.5 + 1.5 litre water tank, while the SC 5 Deluxe has a removable 1.3 litre tank.

The power cable of the Kärcher SC 5 Deluxe Signature Line steam cleaner is not supplied by an automatic retraction system. Instead, the cable must be rolled up manually and secured in the integrated cable holder on the appliance.
