Beautiful and high quality machine that will survive a few years.
I knew the larger machines (6 & 10 cups) from before and have now purchased this smaller one for myself. The contact plate is flat (not ring-shaped like older(?) models). I like the quality and design very much and was the reason for this rather expensive machine from Alessi. But it is also a device that you will use for a very long time and therefore, from my point of view, the one-time higher purchase costs are worth it.
I am very satisfied so far, but I only get 2 rather than 3 cups of coffee; a considerable part of the water remains in the lower container. I have already experimented with different grinds and grind quantities, but without noticing any big differences.Pro

Made in Italy" coffee machine for induction hobs
The machine is easy and practical to use, with a one-hand opening/closing system. The coffee is ready quickly and it tastes good because it's measured out correctly, thanks to the funnel, which is just the right size. I particularly like the grate, which reduces the amount of coffee used so that you can prepare the equivalent of a single cup of 'caffé lungo'.
