very nice but...
after 2 months of use, it was telling me that the water was empty, when in fact it was full and no longer measured the humidity correctly (65-70% when we were not even at 40%, so it was unreliable) and I couldn't use it after that, so I had to return it. complicated cleaning after the automatic programme, the parts are still viscous so you also have to do it by hand and rinse the parts for at least 10 minutes, impossible to completely remove the smell of descaler. I'm a fan of Xiaomi products but this is one to avoid. The old white Xiaomi humidifier with its sleek design was better and much easier to clean - cleaning vinegar, a jet of water and a swipe of pasta.

Efficient and pleasant
For the second time, broke down for no reason after about 2 months. The warranty return is too long (over 30 days).
Replacement filters are not available, which poses a major hygiene problem.
Mould forms inside the appliance, cleaning twice a week IS ESSENTIAL!

Good idea, (still) poor implementation
Interim conclusion after 3 days:
Unfortunately, the installation has to be done with the Smartmi app (the one from Xiaomi does not work). Integration in Homekit without problems. In the 50 m2 dining room/living room, it only manages 40% humidity at maximum level, which is all it can do. In the bedroom it manages 45% without problems. After moving from the living room to the bedroom, the sensor always shows a fantasy value, which is why I'm not sure. Homekit can only do on/off at the moment, nothing more. I hope that an update will make it possible to change the mode, for example. Volume at Auto level: something between oven and steam vent, so much too loud. Sleep mode is still too loud, unthinkable in the bedroom.
So at the moment it's unclear whether we'll keep it. Actually hoping for software updates.Pro

Worth the money, better design than most
We are quite happy with this product, but one drawback is how often it disconnects from the Wi-Fi and how it can be tricky to get it to connect without being right next to the router. Besides that, we are very happy. The rain window is soothing, the rain sound is great as white noise when sleeping, and the sleep mode makes it run extra quiet for when you don’t want the noise. All in all satisfied with the product for now (bought 1 week ago).
