Some call it a milk pot or milk jug, but for us, it will always be the spout pot, due to its characteristically shaped spout. This allows the liquid to be poured precisely into the intended vessel and, with its round handle, is ideal for direct serving at the table. The rim is gently curved – a rolled edge in enamel terminology – where the metal is bent to create a round and stable edge. The spout pot was not only beloved by our grandmother, but it remains a popular kitchen helper for all sorts of occasions.
