Satake teapot, oval 1.2 L. An oval, exceptionally beautiful cast iron teapot that brightens up the tea setting with its shape and design. The iron in the teapot is purified during casting. The inside of the teapot is enameled, which protects it from rust and makes cleaning easier.

The spout of Satake teapots is designed to be drip-free. A tea strainer is included with all Satake teapots. The tea strainer is specially matched to each model.

Usage: Heat the teapot by pouring hot (preferably boiling) water into the pot. Let it sit for a while. Pour out the water and then steep the tea. Place your favorite tea blend in the tea filter, pour boiling water over it, and let it steep for a few minutes. Never boil tea water in the teapot directly on the stove, otherwise the enamel inside the pot will crack.
