With the use of the KDS 210 cable exhaust control, an exhaust system can only be operated when the window is open, allowing the necessary fresh air to flow into the room. A magnetic switch on the window sash monitors whether the window is open or closed and transmits this information via a thin cable to the control unit. The control unit only allows power supply when the window is tilted or opened.

KDS 210 with DIBt approval Z-85.2-14. The control unit is simply plugged between the power outlet and the power plug of the extractor hood. The power plug safety feature prevents the device plug of the extractor hood from being unplugged. The control line is connected to the magnetic switch.

Second Window: The system can be combined with an additional cable magnetic switch KMS 098K22; at least one window must be open for the exhaust system to be activated.

Existing Window Contact: If a magnetic contact has already been installed by the window manufacturer and it is a normally closed contact (closed when the window is closed), it can be used for the KDS 210. The included 10-kOhm resistor must only be connected in parallel to the normally closed contact to ensure cable break protection.
