Before plucking, heat the poultry in the scalding kettle. The poultry scalding machine has a capacity of 70 liters and is designed for 3 to 5 chickens per batch. The powerful heating element with 1800 W quickly reaches the desired temperature, which is between 60 and 65 °C for chickens. For preparation for plucking, the animals only need to be scalded for 70 to 90 seconds, making the poultry scalding kettle particularly effective. A stainless steel basket facilitates the insertion and removal of the poultry. Depending on the size of the poultry, the temperature should be adjusted; a large rotary knob is available for this purpose. The maximum selectable temperature in the water tank is 85 °C, although for most poultry species, only a temperature between 60 and 70 °C is required. The housing is made of easy-care stainless steel, which is excellent for food processing and is characterized by its durability even at high temperatures and frequent scalding processes. The heating element is equipped with a cover that makes cleaning the interior easier, as does the integrated drain valve. Non-slip rubber feet ensure a stable stand.
