The set includes two 30 litre press cloths for the fruit press.

The pressing cloths are washable up to 60°C and designed for the fruit press's maximum capacity of 30 litres.

Depending on the mash (heavily chopped fruit), a correct pressing process is quick and easy.
Each type of fruit requires its own type of preparation.

Grapes should be crushed beforehand. This can be done with a fruit mill or by hand. Pomaceous fruit must be pitted beforehand. The amount of juice yield is of course dependent on the water content of the fruit and not on the effort of the operator. If the fruit is prepared correctly, it can easily be pressed with one hand.

With all presses of this type, it is not possible to press whole fruit. A mash (heavily crushed fruit) must be produced, otherwise a successful pressing process is not possible. A wine or fruit press cannot be compared with a juicer. The two products work completely differently. Grapes, for example, cannot be processed in a juicer because the seeds are destroyed and bitter substances are released. Only with a fruit press do the seeds remain intact and the juice can be processed into wine.

Apples, pears and other types of fruit must be processed into mash before pressing. Whole, halved and quartered fruit cannot be pressed. Spindle presses are not designed for this.
