Bet you that the roasting pot will soon become your favorite kitchen companion? Because it is so practical and versatile: in just one step, you can sear meat in it, pour in sauce, and then let the dish simmer slowly on the stove or in the oven. You save on frying pans and meat pots, as tender, juicy braised dishes like goulash and beef roulades can be easily prepared in just one pot. The raised rim prevents fat from splattering, and braising works well with little liquid. At the same time, the rim is lower than that of a meat pot, allowing liquid to evaporate faster and making it easy to turn the meat. Made from stainless Cromargan® steel and featuring a TransTherm® all-hob base, WMF roasting pots are suitable for all types of stoves, including induction. They are also available in cast aluminum and in various diameters with matching glass or stainless steel lids.

The cookware was developed in collaboration with the design office NOA Aachen. The pot lid was inspired by Apple's MP3 player, the iPod. Made from stainless steel and silicone, the lid has four different functions – based on the control wheel of the iPod. This is practical because depending on the position, liquids can be poured out completely or controlled with the lid closed: the large sieve openings allow cooking water to escape while keeping the pasta in the pot. The same applies to the small sieve openings for rice. The closed position is intended for low-water cooking, while the open position is for fully draining liquids. The red ring on the lid is a real eye-catcher. Made from heat-resistant silicone, it always sits securely on the pot. Importantly, the hollow handles do not heat up during cooking, making pot holders unnecessary. The pots feature an inner scale for easy measuring of liquids and are made from indestructible Cromargan®.
