Filter cartridge for all BWT water filters that removes limescale and taste-altering substances. The mineral calcium occurs in varying concentrations in water and is measured in °dH (degrees of German hardness). Calcium is not visible but can form deposits when heated, depending on the hardness level. These deposits can damage household appliances such as fully automatic coffee machines, coffee makers, and water and tea kettles. The BWT filter cartridge Soft Filtered Water is specifically designed for treating water with very high hardness levels (over 15° dH). The reliable reduction of water hardness protects household appliances from limescale deposits. Additionally, the specially developed filter reduces heavy metals (such as lead and copper) as well as odor- and taste-altering substances like chlorine. This results in noticeably softer water from the tap for unrestricted enjoyment.
