After that, you have to go directly to the manufacturer (for the remaining 3 years). No, this is simply the legally prescribed warranty period of 2 years. The Mi Store Switzerland "voluntarily" offers a 5-year guarantee, but that doesn't mean that all shops have to do so now. It's exactly the same for all Xiaomi smartphones and other products of this brand. If you want a 5-year guarantee, you have to buy there.
