To add to Galaxus' comment; you can of course also simply place the robot in a room, e.g. individual rooms or cellars etc. and then it will clean until the entire area has been "processed" and then finish cleaning at the point where it was started. So yes, you can start it in any room. However, if you want to use the room-to-room navigation, feel free to start it from the station and via the app.

It doesn't matter from which point in the room you start the Braava jet m6. The mopping robot uses camera-based vSLAM navigation to create a map of your home and uses it as a guide to clean efficiently and methodically. For optimum results, it should ideally start from its charging station, as this way it knows its position and can work through the cleaning process systematically. A starting point in the middle of the room without reference to the map or charging station can impair navigation and cleaning performance.
