The handle of the Lodge cast iron pan (Ø 31cm) can become hot during prolonged cooking or at high temperatures, as the pan is made from a single piece of cast iron and conducts heat well. It is therefore advisable to use oven gloves or a cloth when handling the hot pan to avoid burns.
