This means that when the clothes horse is fully extended you have 30 metres of space to hang the laundry with all the rods together - and I haven't measured it but I think the 3.04 metres is about right - I'm impressed by the low weight - but everything still holds. I washed all the big blankets on the first day and had room to hang everything up. I am totally thrilled and can definitely recommend it!!!!
