Yes, the machine is noisy & when it's done it still has a tedious beeping sound for about half a minute.
There is no ice container, think the normal container is used

For us the machine is quite quiet, we had a Kenwood which was very loud. Operating instructions only in German and English. On request we received a French manual in pdf format.

Yes, it is loud as long as it is stirring. The beeping at the beginning and when the nut container opens and again at the end is also loud. When it is baking, it is silent. I have not seen any ice cream containers.
