How is the longevity of the silicone when regularly cleaned in the dishwasher? Does it stay nice or does it get tarnished?

I have had the set for almost 1 year and use it daily, I have not been able to find any deterioration or any damage to the silicone it is like new. Certainly, but as with pans, I would always recommend hand washing. But I also use the dishwasher a lot and it holds up perfectly.
