How much electricity does it need when it cools? In other words, to bring a "warm" barrel to the right temperature?

Yes, you should cool it in the fridge first, that's what I do, because when it's warm it takes 3-4 hours. And about electricity: unfortunately I can't tell you exactly, but my electricity bill hasn't changed as a result.

70 watts! And as I am in the picture constantly, even when the beer has cooled down, especially as ice forms under the barrel when there is a lot of moisture. Enjoy it anyway.....

Thank you very much. And that would be 15 hours times 70 watts?

So about 1 kilowatt hour that costs us about 50 cents.

When the cask is at room temperature, i.e. around 23°C, it takes between 12 and 15 hours for the beer to cool to its ideal temperature. If the ambient temperature is higher, the keg will necessarily take longer to cool. The machine can be used between 3°C and 32°C. If you want to start serving beer soon after the keg has been installed in the machine, place your keg of beer in the fridge in an upright position beforehand.
