Question about Miele Triflex HX1
I got the Triflex HX1 yesterday - great! Just one small thing: the brush makes a noise like a lawn mower after two seconds, then it doesn't make a noise for 2-3 seconds and then it starts again (it's not the motor/battery, the device is almost silent without the brush). Is this normal?

Hello this is normal! This is the carpet function. I think it is controlled by the air resistance. There are floors where it always switches on/off as you described. And other floors it stays off. However, with the carpet it is always on "lawn mower" :-) But it cleans floor mats etc. perfectly in this mode.
