Question about Roborock S7 Max Ultra
I have a carpet in the living room that is the whole width and has long shag. Other robotic vacuum cleaners have always got caught in it. Is it possible to programme the robot so that it doesn't vacuum the shag, but just runs over it? Or another workaround so that it doesn't get caught but can still get over the carpet?
In my experience, you can program the robot to avoid certain areas (no-go zones). For that, you need the robot to generate the room map first, locate the place you want to avoid, and generate the "digital no-go zone" in the map.
You can easily define the type of floor covering on the map in the app or mark areas that the robot is not allowed to work on.
