My old Kenwood was also very old. The connection at the front was changed and I thought this was also the mincer attachment....(don't have a mincer and don't know whether the new connection is already there). However, Kenwood offers adapters for the old accessories. In fact, all new Kenwoods (regardless of model) no longer use the old connections at the front. I called with model (old) and asked Kenwood directly.
