If only the connector is different: Why does the EU version cost 499.- the Swiss version 646.-? An expensive plug??

The product is supplied by 2 different suppliers, hence the extreme price differences.

The CH version has a Swiss plug and has been blessed by the Pope. The EU version has a Schuko plug and Angela Merkel has touched it.
