I've only had mine for a good 2 weeks and it doesn't leave any puddles of water.

Thanks for the answers. Can you deactivate the water? So can you set "no water", "little water" and "lots of water"?
I'm asking because that's the only advantage of my Bissell. I can vacuum over it again without water and "dry it out", so to speak. According to the AquaTrio instructions, only newer models can do this.
