It says it's coated but that doesn't make sense, does it?
The beeswax coating serves as rust protection and disappears when washed with soap. Afterwards burn it in, do not wash with soap again, then the part will last a lifetime.
It may be that one mentions the treatment with beeswax as a coating. :-) We are very satisfied!
