Question about De'Longhi Nespresso CitiZ

On the product video, you can see two machines at the end with visually different coffee outlets at the front. What is the difference? And can the automatic switch-off be shortened to e.g. 1 minute or can the machine at least be switched off manually? A heating time of 9 minutes is still 9 times too long for a single cup of coffee...

Helpful answer

Question 1: Different manufacturers can produce slightly different machines visually, despite the same model range (e.g. Citiz model). The one offered here at digitec is from De'Longhi. The second is film could have been made by Krups or Turmix, for example. Unlike the capsules, the Nespresso coffee machines are not made by Nespresso itself, but by third-party manufacturers. However, you shouldn't notice any differences, as it's the model (e.g. Citiz) and not the manufacturer that matters.
Question 2: You can only set the automatic switch-off to 9 or 30 minutes or deactivate it completely. However, you can switch the machine off manually at any time.
Question 3: The heating time is not 9 minutes, but the automatic "energy-saving switch-off". The heating time is around 25 seconds. However, you can usually give the command to make coffee while the machine is still heating up. The coffee runs out automatically after the 25 seconds.

P.S. I am not a Nespresso expert, so all information is without guarantee ;)
