Received the appliance today, works perfectly. Only the lid of the shredder cannot be opened (assembly error). Why don't @Galaxus just send me a replacement part instead of suggesting that I dispose of the new appliance "ecologically"?

Unfortunately, spare parts are often only available for service centres and are not distributed to regular retailers.
