The depth of the shelves for putting in the spices will hardly be 24cm deep as it looks in the pictures...? Are the 24cm together with the skid and shelf?

Exactly, 24cm refers to the total depth when hanging. Standing, the depth would be 15cm and the pure depth of the shelf is 10.5cm.
