the xiaomi mi mop pro has scanned and saved the entire flat several times now. the map was created and the areas too. however, it doesn't remember it or it has some other malfunction and then does the entire flat again instead of the selected area.... are there any tips and tricks i could try?

When you open the app, you have to wait a few seconds until the device connects to the app. Then the device should appear in green on the display, where the charging station is, only then does the selected area work.
