We had the old bialetti coffee makers and moved into a flat with an induction cooker. I bought the plate. It works well and I imagine it should work well with the special induction coffee maker as well. We have had no problems with our induction and the new coffee maker.

Be careful with the hotplate, in the long run a deposit will form on the cooker. I hope this helps.
