We have the following problem: The unit charges and also shows the full charge level, but after a few seconds of operation it goes off and shows a completely empty battery. A warranty exchange unit has the same problem. Assuming we haven't had the misfortune of getting two defective units at the same time: Does anyone have any ideas?

I had the same problem. I cleaned the filter thoroughly (it was so full of dust that no air could get through) and since then it has been working perfectly again. Now I just clean the filter regularly and the problem has not reappeared.
