Question about Samsung SKK-DD connector

What is the difference between this model (SKK-DD) and the Samsung Connector (https://www.digitec.ch/de/s1/product/samsung-verbindungsstueck-waschmaschine-zubehoer-14953707) ? We have the Samsung tumbler DV80T6220LH/S5 and, naturally, would like to buy the correct connector. By the way, we have a washing machine that is not Samsung: would it be a problem to install any of these 2 connectors into it (it is a Bosch washing machine)?

Hello. I don't think there are too many details between the 2 Connectors. Check the Samsung official site or ask a Samsung representative. The second question it's more tricky because I don't think it will work with your Bosch washing machine. I was struggling a little bit connecting the Samsung SKK-DD connector with a Samsung washing machine, so I guess you will have some challenges to connect them. My recommendation is to always have the same brand for washing machine and tumble dryer and the connector. If you already have the 2 different brands, before you buy the connector, try to see what are the technical options for connecting them and after that you buy the connector. Hope it helps.

I bought this connector and have the following washing machine: https://www.galaxus.ch/de... . Is it really correct that I now have to drill through the holes in the machine? This was already the case with the old machine, but before I do this now with the completely new machine, I want to be sure. Thanks for the help!
